2000 D nickel struck through???

    i would be very surprised to hear this is not a struck through. Pretty sure it is because it looks wayyy too perfect to be damage. That's just my opinion but I'll let the more knowledgeable people over ride my thoughts if they can convince me

    I'm no pro, but that looks like a struck through debris error. Could be wrong though.

    Yeah I thought so too. I think it looks cool. Kind of reminds me of a war nickel! Thanks for the input. Barely caught this while working the register. Almost gave it away till I looked on the reverse

    I can not see any distortion on the Obverse, so I will agree with
    "Struck Through Debris".
    There is also something at the right side of the steps, Die Chip?
    And at the left side, bottom of second window looks different.
