    1. Obverse - "unicorn" lincoln - line on lincoln's forehead
    2. Reverse - cud between R & I on AMERICA - looks like it goes under R but over the "I"
    3. Reverse - cud over T but goes under E on STATES

I'm fairly new with this hobby and still learning, just watching a lot of youtubers. I'll be posting a couple more (1988 and 1975 penny errors)

I will wait for the experts but I think all you are seeing is zinc bubbles!

Thanks for the reply, I'll have to research zinc bubbles then...not familiar with that yet.

All the cents minted after 82 have a very big problem with Zinc rot , Zinc bubbles, If you get a response of CRAPPY Zinc-coin That is what they are referring to.

zinc bubbles are caused by the zinc oxidizing under the thin copper plating. it is not considered a mint error and is actually the beginning of the end for the coin as it will eventually rot out

I see a scratch at Lincoln's head (Unicorn) and a possible die chip at America. Or possibly that is a plating issue. The one going over the T is a plating issue. No cuds here, cuds involve the rim. JMHO.

Post 1982 can be tough finding nice examples but there are still quite a few out there that are decent. Never give up!

One of my many zinc rotted Abes. Look over all your Zincolns they will all rot so if you have any Zinc cent that your going to keep inspect well and conserve as needed. I use VerdiCare as it works to protect coin metal for long term storage. The zinc will rot and you will end up with the shell of a cent, think snakeskin! Reed.
