1943- 25 cents 1943D- 25 cents 1943S- 35 cents also, look for the 1943D, doubled D. the d will be bold. they are worth $6 depending on condition.
There are so many uncirculated '43s that the circulateds aren't sought after by collectors. However, everything is worth something. I'd guess a dealer is not even interested, but a beginning collector might offer you $2.00 for the lot. Clinker
Am I not seeing something in the photos...they look like copper, or is it the lighting and the what the cent is in? 1943 copper cents? I thought in 1943 the mint only made zinc coated steel cents due to a shortage of copper and that only a few planchets got through onto the steel dies
johndo: Well, either they are worth about $100 grand or the lighting is off. Probably the lighting. Little chance that they'd be asking otherwise.
That's Abraham Lincoln.They started making his cents in 1909 which would have been his 100th birthday.In another 3 years,it will be 200 years and they're gonna make some special Lincoln cents for the year..I can't wait!:smile
