I recently sold a vehicle for cash and noticed one of the 20 the guy paid me with is a 1963A Star note. I check a couple websites but couldn't find anything from that year. Does anyone here have an experience with older bills or a resource for anything. PS. It's in well used condition with creases and what appears to be rust stains, but it is not torn or anything, has some writing on it.
Welcome to Coin Talk. Most of the 1963A $20 star notes have similar values, but we need to try and establish condition. Post a photo, front and back. Or at least give us the complete serial number.
Thanks @John B. Unfortunately the graffiti and stains kill most or all of the value. Too bad, AU-CHCU examples bring a nice premium, even tho the BEP printed over 3M of these. The 63A $20 Minneapolis (I*) star is the key note for the series.
