Not a Repeater. Not a Fancy Serial number at all.
    Spender.

The "coolness" serial number website is a silly place to visit. I stay away from there. It's either a true Fancy Serial number or it's not. IMHO.

    Sorry

I think you have to be at 99% or above to have a really cool number.

I put 8 numbers at random and still got an 85% "cool" factor. :D

Folks...in addition to Ebay, you can buy graded and protected bills with "cool" serial numbers for well-under $100 on Heritage on their weekly auctions.

Worth it compared to a worn bill that isn't graded/protected and usually has 1 or 2 serial numbers that detract from a truly "cool" number.

I have 86644668 and it scores 98.9% on the cool factor. I probably paid $50-$60 (total costs) or so for it a few years ago. Nothing special, these relatively new bills are sold weekly. An older bill, a SC or GC, a Hawaii note -- the fancy calculator won't take those into account but they add even more value sometimes. Ditto condition and grade.

I have a few others just like it. My 00000026 is at 99.2% cool and I think (?) it my highest Cool Factor and definitely my lowest serial number.

    Serial numbers < 10 get above 99.5%.

I like the cool factor, if you find something interesting, even though its
not worth much and if you can afford to keep it, why not :)

No argument with that, and I get that the "cost" of such an acquisition is zero (aside from not spending the face value of the bill :D).

My point is that for a NOMINAL sum you can get a uniquely "cool" serial number.....protected in plastic....graded.....and in excellent condition.

As a potential investment or an addition to a collection or as a conversation piece....I think it's better.

But to each his or her own. :D

In that condition, it is not worth keeping for any reason. Unless you just like it. Who am I to tell you not to keep it if you like it It is your money after all.
