hey guys just felt like sharing 1 of my new finds. it is a 2004 series star note from run 3 of the philadelphia mint 320,000 were made for that series it is considered a low run I took it to my local coin dealer today and she advised me that it is in xf condition and worth 70 to 80 dollars. I am real excited cause its my first star note found in circulation. It has two slight creases in it but nothing majorly wrong.

    Congrats on the find.

I remember finding my first star note, a 2003 $5. It was, of course, heavily circulated (so much so that the security thread was showing through the top, and bottom edges) but I was still really excited when I found it.

Stars are always fun finds, in circulation.

Congrats on your first star note find! I remember my first star note from circulation. In fact, I got two in a single weekend down in DC. Anyway, nice note!

My first star find was 3 years ago. I was recycling cans and I went in to the store to cash out the receipt (I think it was like $83) and one of the $1's was a 2006 $1 L*. Congrats!
