$20.00 "Green Star"

    I got a 2004 twenty C3 from the bank today , any ideas on it`s value? It has strong crisp edges.

    judging from ebay's auctions... you're looking at only 25-30. If it is graded... you might fetch an extra 10-20 bucks depending on it's grade.

    Ruben:
    Each Federal Reserve has it's own designation, so, that note was from Philly. I believer A and 1 designate New York, and Dallas is 11, or K.

    Ruben:
    Star notes are replacement notes that the BEP (Bureau of Engraving & Printing) use to replace mis-printed notes, within the series of regular notes.
    So, they are scarcer than regular notes.
    They are considered to be very collectible, and different Federal Reserve Districts have more or less star notes, so some districts may be scarcer than others.
