Hi all, I haven't found any Fancy Serial numbers lately but I still look out for Birthday or Special Date serial numbers. Found this one today dated 12 04 1700 Only thing I found on the web was this book with one of the longest titles I have ever seen! - King of France Louis XIV - A memorial from His Most Christian Majesty presented by the Count de Briord, his Ambassador Extraordinary to the States General of the United Provinces at the Hague, December 4, 1700 (1700)
How did they write days in France back in those days? In Britain Dec 4th 1700 would be 04121700. In Japan it would be 17001204 if they used the western style.
