Hi all, Every once in a while when I go metal detecting I find a world coin. This evening I found 2 of them. The first one is a 1/2 NEW SHEQEL from Israel The second coin is a 5 CENT EURO from España (Spain) Enjoy
Nice finds - they look in pretty good condition too, makes you wonder who was carrying them around and how'de they lose them.

That's great! I love that picture of Manhattan! So I take it most of your finds in that area are pretty much on the surface. Not doing much real digging, correct? Or are you? The only way we're going into the city is by LIRR. The city is a mess today and spiraling out of control with de Blasio. It's a shame!
Oh no.. I do a lot of digging, that's my favorite part. If I find 50 coins maybe 2 are surface finds. Even at the beach exposed surface coins are there but only like 5 out of 60 coins.
