2 unusual Lincolns

    The reverse pic is residue on the coin. You can see clean copper above states where some came off.

    The obverse kinda looks like the 19 is damaged but the blob over them is throwing me. Wait for a more experienced voice on that.

    It does look to me like some melting occurred and blotted out some of the letters.
    You never know what your going to find.

    The 1947 is a weird well placed hit to the 1 and 9.

    Not a mint error of any kind unfortunately.

    I agree with weird hit on the 1947. Same thing happened at Abe's chin.
