So I found 2 stars at work, which is strange, normally I'll find 1, or zero. Anyways, one is a 2003, serial F-057..... point is, its well circulated and is part of a run thats 3.2 mil. I think i'll keep it anyway. its also a little stained (with some kind of paint stuff almost ). lol the other one is a 1999, which oddly enough is better than the 2003, serial number: L-1689... which is Run 6 out of 7 (lots printed for the L block in '99) - but again has a run of 3.2 mil. Im not going to even bother with pictures - but anyway, its nice that I found 2 in one day.
so, your post BEGS the question ... are you gonna keep em lol Nice find!!! the last few weeks, when i go to the bank to get my $200 in singles, star note have been very hard to find! im finding some older notes, so im not wasting time... but i do like finding them stars
oh, lol. yeah, I think I'll keep them. if anything I'll put that stained one back in circulation, if/when I decide to yeah they are hard to find. in a given day at work, I can go through maybe 150-200 1's... and not find one. Ive also noticed a lot more 99 series popping up, maybe its just me.
in my trip to the bank, i usually find about 5 or so 1995's, 10 or so 1999's and 2001's. 2003 and 2006 are about the same, and the mother load of notes are from the 2003a series. I have noticed more notes from 1999 that are still crisp or close to!!! normally they are very heavily worn and tattered, but i am finding a few a week that are still very nice!
