I just came across about 15 sequential $2 star notes. No repeating or radar numbers all 1976's. I'm not really up on paper, mostly coin, worth keeping? All are crisp, all procured at face value.

    Hello Paul...[IMG]

There are some factors we need to know in order to make a best case comment.
The 1976 $2 * notes can be valuable if they are from a certain Federal Reserve Branch Bank.

On the notes you wll see the SN# where "X" is a letter then the number follows. Above the SN is a black Seal with a Letter in the Center!
If that letter is one of the folowing then you just might have something.
Letters B,G and E are worth between 30-50.00 in Gem
The letter "J" is what you are really looking for. These can go as high as $200 ea..here is a pic of the note!

    Post some pics...

RickieB said it all, but in most cases, those notes are worth more than face value.

Retail putting them at $25 each but I'd expect a little lower. 1.28 million printed but a heck of a nice find!

WOOO AWESOME! even if they are only worth 10 dollars a piece, still my best find in circulation!
