To add perspective as gently as possible: The ‘70-S has way too much circulation wear…it’s a spender. However, the ‘69S has been found (can I say “rescued”?) with approx. XF40 wear. Now, if you follow historical prices at NGC you will find the ‘69-S has maintained FV for most of it’s life, vaulting to 10 cents in 2018 for about a year, then dropping back to face until about March of this year back to ….10 cents again. What I find annoying is NGC displays the values from PrAg to AU55 as all the same value at 10 cents. This is patently misrepresented for this coin. If it were a lesser condition coin I would deep six it. The listed value of the coin now comes into question because NGC says XF40 is the same as AU55! NGC has a lot of work to do, but don’t hold your breath. So my bottom line is the ‘69-S may rocket to 15 cents in about 5 years, based on past NGC historical data (supplied by them)…imo…Spark
