A couple of months ago, I purchased 2 Roosevelt dollars from my local coin shop, paying £3 (around $5) for them each. Are these worth the money I paid for them? They are both in pretty good shape with all details still fairly crisp on the obverses and reverses. However, despite the 1974 having more tone to it than the 1971, it has a couple of small, yet noticeable indents that could affect the value of it.( Sorry I couldn't upload any photographs of the coins but I don't have adequate equipment to do so.)
I think you mean Eisenhower dollars. These are pretty common, so condition is important to determine value. Sorry, but we'd need photos for an accurate appraisal. Chris
