2 NICKELS

    Hey Guys, I just found two nickels coin roll hunting..One's a 1934 and the other a 1939.
    The 1939 on the reverse, on the left side of the word MONTICELLO, seems like
    something had melted some of the words.....What do you think that could be?

    No way to know what caused it but it's damage.

    That does not look melted.. some kind of Post Strike hit :yack:

    Cool find on the Buffalo! It's hard enough to find those coin roll hunting, let alone finding one with a full date like that. Nice one!

    Yes, that's post-mint damage on the '39 Jeff, but it's still a fun find for face value, and even though it isn't worth much if anything over face value, I would have found myself keeping it for my stash of CRH goodies rather than recirculating it.

    Thanks Guys....Hey, check out the Buffalo's hip...It looks like a
    horseshoe mark....Maybe he was in a fight....Think I will call him
