got 2 new low grade (but cool) romans! this is my first severus alexander and my firs triple standard reverse.... i cleaned this one up a bit, here is the original pic.. severus alexander 222-235ad avr alexandroc av ni ka ie wn nicaea ...and this one is my first with this reverse type (and only my third theodosius) the seller wrote this was antioch mint, but looks like a CONSS...constantinople anyone know attriubtion on this one?
Coin 1 is in fair condition and not a bad looking coin. Coin 2 I can't make out the legend very well, but perhaps it is: Theodosius AE3. D N THEODOSIVS P F AVG, diademed bust right / CONCORDIA AVGGG, Constantinopolis seated facing, head right, holding spear & globe. RIC 57d of Constantinople.
