Howdy everyone.... As you all know I have been posting notes as I acquire them...well here are 2 more. The Series 1950 D...the notes $50 star(hard to get) $5 FRN not so hard to get... Hello Bruce...how many do I need to finish....WOW!!!! While I just started this year, and a daunting goal that it is.........I thought I would count them up! So here it is in all it's unfinished glory!! The goal is; notes from NY starting in 1914 through 2004 (yea I know it's huge hya: hya: ) $1 on hand 9 with many more needed $2 on hand 7 and many more needed $5 on hand 22 and 51 more needed... $10 on hand 12 and 63 needed... $20 on hand 5 and many many more needed (1 large size 1914 Burke/Mcadoo nice unc note) $50 on hand 11 (8 of them *) and many many more needed $100 on hand 4 ( 1 of them * )and many many more needed This is what my spread sheet tells me anyway....... WOW!!! What a huge goal....I might have to rethink this through..... perhaps I will focus on the $50's for now? The expense is somewhat greater than what I first calculated ! RickieB
Rick,those are very nice notes.Eventually,you will have to do like a spreadsheet to note down what you have got in your collection. Aidan.
Thanks Aidan and good morning as well. I m up early as usual try to get organized for work. I have built a spread sheet for the coins and currency..it works quite well and I have it coded so determining price I paid for the item is very simple to calculate. As mentioned before the collection is for my young son, and I hope when the day comes that it will serve him well. Have a great day in NZ and what did you think about the new Iran currency with the atomic symbol on the reverse?? That is going to cause some friction for sure... Rick,I didn't know that Iraq has issued banknotes with an atomic symbol on the back on them.Have you got some? If you do,then you'd better post some photos of them in another thread. Aidan.
