Had a envelope with cheech on it. Had two sets of 70 sets in it. I think i love ma extra extra today. God rest her fine soul. I also think she left me a 81 type two s cent. To early to tell yet. I can tell you it's not the blob S. The last 3 pics are the same coin. @V. Kurt Bellman @lordmarcovan and @paddyman98 so he can summon furryfrog

Can't help you on anything to do with modern Lincoln cent varieties (not my thing at all), but here are your pix:

Hmm They look to both be LG dates to me.

The coin below the envelope photo almost looked like a Sm date until I got to the last photo.

Aha. I see you did get the embedding of the images right in the other thread, but since you had replies on this one, I removed the other (earlier) one.

Not sure if either are working now. I can't view it. Says i don't have permission

Same here. I used @lordmarcovan photos and those are gone too.

Sorry - I might have reposted those pix from the original thread to the second thread after moving the original thread to Purgatory. That might explain why I can see them but y'all can't, and would also explain the permission error.

I have now restored the original thread and will merge the two.

Cheech, I know you have your technical challenges, but please try not to double up anymore. Creates work for us mods, and I'm still not good at this merging threads thing. But bear with me- I'm about to try.

Good practice for newbie moderators, huh?

Like I said, "practice makes perfect". For both of us.

Edit- OK, the two threads should be merged now. Looks a little weird, but that's what happens when you merge two into one.

    Everybody can see pix now?

@Cheech9712 - please practice NOT posting duplicate threads, and maybe I won't have to practice merging duplicate threads - at least not as much. (I'm still gonna have to do it plenty, just maybe not on yours, right?) ;)

Not to worry. I'm not making anymore threads. I don't wanna grow up

Aww, a little growth is a good thing. Expand your horizons and all that. Mistakes are made. That's how it is with learning stuff. You've come a long way already. :)

    V. Kurt Bellman Yes, I'm blunt! Get over your "feeeeelings".

To me, it looks like the upper one is a clear large date. The lower one is intriguing. The nine is different from the upper one. I'd like to see what "LIBERTY" looks like on the lower example.

    First one is large.
The next one the 9 looks like it curls around.

first one Large. no doubt. 7 is dropped a bit.

2nd one ... 7 is more level, 9 curl? as mentioned need to see full Cent to see how full/weak strike LIBERTY is.

Like I said I think both are Large dates. If I am wrong (it wouldn't be the first time) it means I need to go back and recheck my small hoard of 1970S LMCs. For some reason I keep every San Francisco minted LMC I run into. There are still quite a few floating around in change here in NW Montana.

Ok going to try again. I hope you can see them both. From what you learned me. I think i might have it right on the second one. Here goes IMG_0586.jpg IMG_0586.jpg IMG_0585.jpg IMG_0586.jpg IMG_0585.jpg
