A guy we do business with brought these into work for me to see. He was wondering if the Lockheed token had value beyond the silver. I have no idea how many of these were made but I cannot imagine it was many. Any thoughts on either one?

2nd one looks to be more the style of a challenge coin, what being enameled and all....

Second one is absolutely a challenge coin. Likely $20-$30. It's interesting because of the shape and it's numbered 2031 of 5241.

I don't think the round is much over melt but the certificate makes it more interesting. I collect these types of things and I would like to have a 130 round in my collection.

Ya, I was surprised to see the numbered challenge token. Love the shape. I don't know much about these but would think most are not numbered. I was in the Navy during this time so it reminded me of my time in service.

He kept C-130's flying and the round was given as a token (pardon the pun) of appreciation by the officer responsible for the group. This token will never leave his possession except to be passed on to his kids or grandkids. He said he has looked for any like it and has not seen any. He also has a patch collection from his different deployments that rivals any I have ever seen. Some are apparently extremely rare.
