i love $2 bills and get them by the pack from my bank...new and UNC. Love to use them as tips at restaurants and paying for small cost items.

Actually there are 2 places it actually came from - Washington, DC or Fort Worth, Texas - these are the 2 BEP's that actually do the printing then from there they are transferred to Federal reserve banks that they have been printed for.

This sounds pretty good? Or am I missing something along the printing process?

The Federal Reserve District Banks are listed below along with their identifying letter and number. These are used on Federal Reserve Notes to identify the issuing bank for each note.

    Boston A 1 [3]
    New York B 2 [4]
    Philadelphia C 3 [5]
    Cleveland D 4 [6]
    Richmond E 5 [7]
    Atlanta F 6 [8]
    Chicago G 7 [9]
    St Louis H 8 [10]
    Minneapolis I 9 [11]
    Kansas City J 10 [12]
    Dallas K 11 [13]
    San Francisco L (12)

your note was printed in Fort Worth, as designated by the "FW" before the "G 30" in the lower right corner for the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond Va.

Federal banks don't PRINT money - they issue the money into circulation that was printed by the 2 BEPs
