how do you guys get them in enough amounts to spend the recent ones? can u go to a bank n ask for 2$ bills?
I only have a few and I would never just spend one, unless I was starving to death. I got my last one from a coin shop, it was part of my change. Made my day!
Depends on where you live. If you live within an 80 mile radius of me, you won't find them very often. Elsewhere, just ask at your bank. If they don't have them, they can get them. You may have to get $2000 worth though. I think thats the minimum order.
I have 10 $200 packs of unc. 2's with a couple of stars contained in 3 packs. Ask your bank to order them for you and some may have them already in the vault. If they come from the vault most likely circ. I live in San Francisco and during the X'mas and Chinese New Year seasons, they are abundant.
My banks always have a few of them. i have so many, that I am starting to spend them (not the uncircs).... Bob
The bank I worked at always had them when I was there. Just go ask your bank...they probably have some.
I got mine at a gas station. It was a 1976. Left it on the dresser with the fan on. Later came back home to see that the $2 bill got shreeded up by the fan
