Today I picked up $100 worth of 2$ bills from my Credit Union. They are 1976 Series, crisp, and uncirculated (no * notes). They are also sequentially numbered. A friend of mine collects $2 bills, so my intention was to sell them to him at face value. I was curious, so I did some "checking around" on the web, and there seems to be conflicting values about these bills. Anybody have any info on these? Thanks
I have looked at this myself. Unless there is one that is a star note, they generally are worth face value. I got one as change at a coin show and one in a lot that I did not calculate in when I bid.
