Two Apollo 11 half dollar commemoratives went to the International Space Station (ISS) aboard the SpaceX resupply mission CRS-17 from May 4 to June 3, 2019. One of the organizations is the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation, which gives scholarships to students that study in assorted scientific fields that are useful to the space program. One little detail, she is currently an astronaut, and she is giving her spiel aboard the ISS.
