2-1969 S pennies one normal not sure on other?

    No. We've been through this. The spot price for copper is for Grade A copper.
    Cents are an alloy and would only garner 25% of that price if allowed to melt.
    The copper in 1 cent is worth 1/2 cent if melted. Copper would need to go to
    $6 a pound to break even if you were allowed to melt it.
    Anybody saving copper cents to melt in the future is losing money. Mostly from inflation when they have to cash in all these pennies at face value in 20 years. And if they have to do it in a hurry, there will probably be "fees" involved.
