$2 1878 Allison Gillen(?) Looking for price range please

    Wondering what the price range is for an 1878 $2 US Note with Allison Gillen(?) signatures. Not sure if XF,AU or UNC. Can I get all 3 prices please? Thanks

    Ballpark $500 , $750 , and $1000 !! Give or take a little in each grade depending how it grades up .

    Store has it at $1450, may be CU? Maybe I need to learn more about paper before spending so much. Thanks

    Noost...the XF can run you up to $700 depending on paper grade, then AU goes at about 1K and CHCU63 at 1.5K Higher Grades will rapidly increase in value!
    This variety has the small red seal with rays! Great note!

    This is the best piece of advice anyone can give regarding any collecting hobby. Buy the book first and learn before spending any considerable outlay.
