I'm trying really hard to determine if this 1999D Jefferson nickel is a DDR or a DDO or both ? The doubling is crazy on both sides

Usually with that much orange peel i would say Die deterioration but it is hard to say since it is so uniform in the same directIon. You need a pro or research to see if it is a worn die with DDO.

So does anyone in cointalk know if there is a such thing as a coin being both a DDO and a DDR ?

you might as well zoom into the moon, too much out of focus pics and not one of the full coin of either side. Nobody can help you with these pics.

Sorry to hear that ... Unfortunately I like using the zoom feature on my camera phone since the pictures and doubling show even better that way to the people that see them on my end . But if full photos is the only way you can analyze or make out the images I'm sharing then I will try and take some smaller photos with full images if that helps everyone see them better .

Tbh it is hard to see anything but pixels and what may or may not be doubling.. a full image helps in the determination of what you have. Take that how you want.
