Am fairly new to looking for errors of any type, normally would just look for dates I am missing from albums, so with that said, is this a Repunched MM or just grease or worn die. Sorry about if the photos are not clear enough but are the best I can do
Digenes, I am sorry but it is Die Deterioration doubling! The 1999-P Jefferson Nickels were plagued with this type of doubling on the Obverse and many times on the Reverse as well. Quite a few of the Nickels with Die Deterioration doubling on both the Obverse and Reverse, also have a Rotated Reverse Die. Frank
Repunched dies stop at 1990 when the mint mark was added to the master hub instead of being punched manually Richard
