1999 penny

    Thought I would post a couple of pictures to see what you think. I'm guessing this is MD. It only appears in three areas of the coin. Everything else seems normal.

    It looks like MD to me.
    but I am no expert,I have a 2000 that look the same

    Photo #1 - Clear SD/MD/Flat-Field Doubling (whatever one wishes to call it) of this type is quite common on many dates of the LMC (both Copper and Zinc). Photo #2 - Maybe it is just my eyes... but it looks like nothing more than a dent on the "D". Photo #3 - It is hard to tell for sure from the image, but it appears to be just another form of SD. Most definitely not DD.
