Found this 1999P Nickel that is full of MDs. However, while I kept of looking at it, its giving me the illusion that some appear to be thick. Not listed anywhere but I thought it don't hurt to ask y'alls opinions.
You have several problems going on here, the first and foremost is MD in a lot of places. But you also have die deterioration as well, evidenced by erosion of the letters on both sides of the letter, again, in a lot of places. Finally, you have a well worn nickel with a bazillion micro contact marks to go along with the circulation wear. Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to keep the coin as an example as reference. Be sure to label it accordingly. Or, you could just spend it…imo…Spark
Thanks Cazador & Sparks! I accept the mission to keep it not just for my reference but also for my kids who will take over my command when I'm gone.
