I was looking at this coin and I saw there is a die chip on the side of the building right bottom roof. I inspected where that could come from.. I saw an interior die break? I do not know if my findings are right.

The building name is spelled out right below it. Hint... not the White House

Yes it looks like a die chip on the corner of the building.

The obverse appears to be die erosion.

    Just a note:

If you want to draw the reader's attention to the building, Monticello works. If you want to draw the reader's attention to the devices, MONTICELLO works.

Basic rule as I've seen, using Caps for the letters/devices is the way to go.

How about this 1990? Is this die deterioration or a VLDS. A deterioration is suppose to be effected on both sides? this is showing going towards one side.

That looks like die erosion with machine doubling.
