1999 error?

    If you think you know, then it would be helpful if you told others what you think it is rather than have them play a guessing game from not-so-great photos.

    Yep, you're right, the mint had the planchet 90 degrees out of rotation when they struck it.

    I hope you're just kidding, because the planchet can't be 90 degrees out of rotation when it is struck, EVER!

    I used to think the emoticons wouldn't be necessary as well, but then I learned that we have more than our share of members in their teens to 60's who couldn't find their way out of a room even when the door was open.

    Have you ever found a planchet that was struck 90 degrees out of rotation? Or 180? Or 270? I'll bet you have plenty that were struck 360 degrees out of rotation?
