1999 Delaware Quarter Rim Error ?

    Can someone tell me if this rim edge dent is pmd or something that occurred at the mint? 1999 Obverse 1.jpg 1999 Obverse 2.jpg 1999 Obverse 3.jpg 1999 Reverse 1.jpg

    I don't think it's a clip. Looks like damage to me, there's blood evidence.

    Try putting it in acetone for a short time. If it disappears, you'll know it was PMD.

    I don't know about that....lol....

    It looks to me like a bump, someone hit it or it got it. PMD

    The edge and rim have sustained PMD. Not sure why it has caused a discoloration on the field.

    Kinda looks like a quarter someone chucked off the top of the Empire State Building and dinked some unlucky individual in the noggin...:D
