at first these look like scratches,,what do you guys think? cheers

Scratches is correct

 

The scratches are rounded, low relief troughs - looks like they were made with a ball point pen.

Hey eddio, what set up do you use to take photo's, really like them.

 

i use a loupe 30x attached to my digital camera and i use different light settings to get the best image possible,sometimes i give up and try the next day..cheers eddie

 

Ty a 30x cool, I used a 10x before all the time. Now I am wondering how you get it attached to the camera LOL I bought a new microscope that takes pictures but I hate the lighting on it, it's to bright and I can't disable the lights. Anyway you always have great shots!!!!
