    Hey everyone,
Noticed the last 9 in date thinking a grease strike but appearance looked like a zinc about ready to start its self destruction mode of rotting from inside out but when I used my loop all this popped up. Is this a die clash and if so from what? Or can this be someone having fun with a press?
    Thanks 20210329_140109.jpg 20210329_140040.jpg Image_2021-03-29 13_56_00_934.JPG Image_2021-03-29 13_56_16_069.JPG Image_2021-03-29 13_42_39_876.JPG Image_2021-03-29 13_11_32_205.JPG Image_2021-03-29 08_18_13_289.JPG Image_2021-03-29 09_13_36_673.JPG Image_2021-03-29 09_56_41_894.JPG

I'm seeing some clashing in Bays 4 & 10. This seems to be common for this date and certainly 1998 P. Also some die polishing has been done to the obverse. Missing details at the back of the neck and beard area which was likely done to get rid of obverse clashing. The pillars on an obverse clash will run through the area behind the neck and into the right field.

Thanks, die clashes can be so subtle at times and as my eyesight continues to get worse, makes them harder to see.
