WOW, congrats to you being in the right place and time. It looks to be in okay condition too, for a circulated cent. Take care of it and use a 2X2 flip at least. Really nice find. That's the only wide A M I don't have. Get it checked out with a local, reputable coin dealer.:high5: zg
Now 1999 is the rarest followed by 98, then 2000, correct? Thats a great find yourself. Where did you get it? :thumb:
I found it in a roll of cents from my bank. I couldn't beleive when iI saw it. So I know how you feel. I have found four 2000's the same way. I really am a very new newbie to coin collecting or to that matter collecting anything. Now I buy a $25 box about every week from the same bank. You know what? I'm finding many canadian cents now. Almost one per roll. Buying folders for them now. Good Luck and more wide A M's for you. Could you please tell me what are : ANA#3130109 WINS#626 CONECA#N-4434 THANKS zg

no big deal, heck yours is the better one anyway. But for both of us finding them like we did is what coin collecting is all about IMHO! So we both did good!
I think there is another post about the odds somewhere else on here. Something like 1 for every 12 boxes for the common one.
That' a lot of cents. I've maybe just been through 12 boxes. Didn't think I was this lucky. one 1999 wide A M four 2-000 wide A M's one 1994-P 195 deg. (CW) die rotation one 1913 and one 1917 wheat cent amongst many other wheaties and two and a half rolls of canadian cents. Some in the fifties. zg
YES, many, many pennies. Figured I should start somewhere. I haven't any sophisticated setup yet either. But the knowledge I'm picking up from everyone in/on CoinTalk is really helping me understand what coin and currency collecting is all about. Tons of dedicated members sharing every kind of info you can think of to guys like me. So hang in there with me and maybe I can share something back to you all, someday. zg
According to James Wiles, Ph.D., 1999 is EX RARE, 1998 is RARE and 2000 is SCARCE. See his research and much more info here: http://www.varietyvista.com/Lincoln Cent RDV Changes.htm
Hey that is a very nice wide A_M variety. AND that it is a 1999, I would definately get it graded. MS 64 is around $700
The 1992 and 1992-D are EXTREMELY RARE! I don't know odds, but I too by a box a week ($25) and have for some time. Never found one. again see http://www.varietyvista.com/Lincoln Cent RDV Changes.htm and http://www.lincolncentresource.com/priceguide.html
