1998 what is this cent problem

    There is so much going on with this coin I am not sure if the pics can capture all of it. On the rim there is breaks on and off. Maybe a clash on the face and transfers to the back. Any ideas? I posted more pics if you keep you eye on the rim as you follow pics you'll see what I am trying to figure out

    Can you post a pic of the reverse and its hard to see whats going on in your close ups.

    It does appear to be a clash. Waiting on that pic.

    I am seeing a damaged cent. Highly doubtful of a clash, I am not really seeing any indication of one.

    It's post-strike damage. The incuse, mirror-image letters ST (from TRUST) are contact marks from the obverse of another cent.
