1998-S Quarter in Circulation???

    I recently found a 1998-S quarter as loose change. Would it be worth anything?

    Depends on how banged up it is.

    A single 1998-S Wash. PR, sells for around $1.50 - $2.75.

    Unless it's a silver proof ,then it's worth at least $3.25 in silver.

    Since the OP didn't say silver proof, I'm assuming it's clad.

    You can find silver proof Washingtons for a bit under melt.
