Maybe it's a belt cent. They call them something else too but I don't remember what. It's when they put a cent in between the fold of a leather belt and then into a press to spread it out without destroying the details.
Someone else posted the same issue a few days ago. It's an altered Cent called a Texas Cent. Post Mint Damage Why that name? You know the saying "Everything is bigger in Texas"
