    Hi everyone,
I'm pretty sure I found a wide AM, 1998 no MM Lincoln Cent! Both the AM is wide as well as the FG is nearly touching the memorial. Can I get confirmation and advice on next steps.... Does it need to be graded and slabbed? What is it's worth? What would you grade it as?

Can I get your advice about whether it needs to be graded/slabbed? If so, which grading service do you recommend? Anything else? Thanks again for your help!!!!

Definitely a WAM but the no mint mark just means it was minted in Philly. In that condition not really worth getting slabbed.

Thanks! I was aware about Philly and the no mm, I was being thorough in the info I could provide to the experts. So no need to slab, can I get your opinion as to what grade you'd give this coin? I'm still learning all about grading so I'm very curious. Thanks again for your help!!!

Need better photos to accurately grade it. It appears there may be damage on the coin at around 3 o'clock on both the obverse and reverse. The discoloration around the N on United and the stains in general make me lean towards AU details environmentally damaged though.

Should I try taking better pictures or not with it due to the bad condition of the coin?

@robertk310, that's in no shape to grade. Couple reasons. First, the 1998, as well as the 2000 WAMs, are quite common transitional errors. Second, it's in bad shape.

Thanks for the feedback! Like I'm just looking to learn more about the fine art of grading and it helps me when I hear what experts give as grades/feedback.
