:wideyed:I found this most unusual anomaly of two raised areas of additional relief on both sides of the letter “M” at the end of the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the reverse of a 1998 Lincoln.

Not sure what this is. Plate bubbles? Die Scratches? Something else? Anybody want to chime in with some expert opinions?

I’ve never encountered this sort of thing in the motto before.

    But wait! There’s more! :wideyed:

On the obverse Abe appears to have a sizable struck through error on his face and along his nose!

:joyful::joyful:OK. Not a strike through. A hit to Abe’s nose blended with a normal facial feature and tricked my brain into thinking I was seeing a wormlike impression on his face, but that’s just Abe’s craggy face….lol…:joyful:

Too much eye strain. Time to call it a night. :wacky:
