    The doubled areas are raised almost as high as the rest

    Looks like light mechanical doubling IMO...

    I was thinking the same, untill I looked at it without the camera and found out the doubling is raised almost as high and as high as the normal letters and numbers. There also is more that even though my fix for glare(tissue diffuser) works the camera isn't sharp enough to show.

    Jak, I have to agree with the MD on this one. If you look closely at the coin especially around the letters you can see that its shelf like. Its a great example thought and I would suggest that you hang on to it for future reference! Its a nice tool!
