i got some half rolls today 5 of them are 1997p full rolls. i opened 2 of them look like they never been opened before. anyway a few of them that have a greyish blue powdery substance on them. thought some where toning ??? but i dont know. anyone have an idea what it might be? sorrydoesnt take pic well enough to make it out.
Sounds like grime to me. I see a similar substance / condition on 1990s and late 1980s Kennedys. I don't know why for sure (although blaming casinos and post office vending machines makes sense) but 1970s issue Kennedys are always in better condition. Sometimes you see similar grime on Ikes, too.
