You might want to check ebay for a rough idea of how much it is going for nowadays.

Howdy jetskifast - Welcome to the Forum !!

The best price being asked on ebay right now for the 4 coin set in original packaging is $3995.00. Doubt the seller will get it though. I'd place value closer to about $2200.

It seemed high to everone else too, since it didn't sell. I suspect the one I mentioned won't sell either for the same reason.

With that low mintage you might what to think twice about selling, if that's what you have in mind. A report I read at Coinresource.com explained how these low mintage modern collectables are the true investments over time mostly because of the very low mintages. Makes sense to me.

Nobody knows what will be considered valuable in the future, but there is a reasonable chance that this will prove to be correct. It is always the overlooked or underappreciated item of one generation that becomes the valued treasure of a future generation. Baseball cards ceased to be valuable once hoards of people started putting away boxes of them. The valuable cards are the ones mom threw in the garbage. But the trick is to not overpay for the low mintage modern collectibles, because if you do much of the future appreciation potential will be forfeited.
