1997-P cent You just have to see it

    Here a 1997-P Cent I know for sure it not a bad copper cover or trapped air in planchet.You tell me what you think it is.it maybe a double ear to but the strike is what has me baffled

    Machine doubling on the ear and most probably a linear plating blister running through the date.

    I have ck it to see if it was a bubble /Blister but the copper plate is firm,that what baffling me it not a bubble

    Although the raised line didn't appear to flex, the following observations are consistent with it being a blister: 1) there are shorter raised lines that run parallel to the longest line; 2) the lines are oriented in the same directions as fine streaks that are visible in the same area. These streaks are remnants of the original streakiness of the planchet. A die dent would have a random orientation relative to those streaks.
