    Well let's try it again. even though I research the coins before I come out here, so not to make a fool out of myself, I'll always come out for you guys opinion.     It doesn't match the known variety for 1997, but does look like the 1988.

    How did you know that it looked like an 88? You probably have it all memorized being the expert you are

    Now that I look at it more ,it does look like the 88. But how can that be? And what does it say for the coin?

    It's not a doubled ear. Looking at the rest of the coin. Just die deterioration, or MD.
