1997 Jefferson Nickel

    Just found this nickel coin hunting. The I in Monticello is half missing. Is this common or of any worth?

    I would say it was a grease filled die or took a hit like the "C" in Cents. No collector value. Be sure to rotate all your nickels to check for rotated die errors!
