1996 penny

    Grease filed die. Not worth anything over face.

    Definitely not a Doubled Die and just a worn Die Strike.

    Some people might make a dollar or two selling these on eBay, but generally they aren't worth all that much. Albeit, they are interesting to see and to help understand the minting process further.

    I found two of these in my change from a purchase. Same date, same error. Photos are of both coins.

    Worn Die Strike. Struck through grease letters and numerals. Die Deterioration strike.
    Neat but nothing major
