I often have trouble with such less than ideal photos, mostly because I've become too lazy to hop on an actual computer and view on a larger screen, but also because I just can't see as well as I used to. With that said though, I'm struck with the feeling that what you're seeing is a slight yet well-placed hit that gives the illusion of possible doubling. If genuinely doubled, the secondary image should match exactly to the primary, and this doesnt, at least from what I can see, seem to be the case here. Considering your interest in varieties, have you looked in to possibly learning how to do overlays? I know they're fairly straightforward using photoshop, but it isn't a free program. There is (at least two other) free photo editing software available, gimp and another (the name escapes me at the moment), but I'm not sure if they can do overlays. Depending on the type of device you use, this may be worth looking into. Just a friendly suggestion, of course....
I only have an iPhone. My computer is not set up for those programs. It needs some work done on it. I will look into it though. Thank you for the suggestion.
If you do go back to using a computer, I do know that some of the guys here use the free programs (there have been general tutorials in the past) and could probably tell you if they're capable of doing overlays. If they are, once installed (if like photoshop) you wouldn't even need it to be connected to the Internet to use.
Ok, I don't know anything about photo editing. Lol, I don't even know the basics of a computer. I did not grow up with cable tv let alone technology.
