Looks like a perfectly normal 1996-D Lincoln Cent. Great pictures though.

Looks normal to me well. I agree, nice photos. This is a coin made from zinc. It might show the doubling you see in photos but it could be split plate doubling. And doubling is NAV Doubling.

I've said it before.....MCPark's true calling is that of a photographer. He has the gift. If this was 1977 and Hugh Hefner was in the process of interviewing 69 candidates for one lone photographer opening, and MCPark was amongst them, we here at CT would be right on the precipice of being treated to some pretty extra nice pics, compliments of our friend, MCPark.

Good pics are 80% of the battle here on CT.

Whoa, just saw this and thank you! I actually just use an iPhone 8 and hold my jewelers loupe up to the lens, then run a quick edit using the basic edit tools. It’s pretty difficult to get it right sometimes... the learning curve has been crazy but I went thru the same kinda thing teaching myself how to take pics of the moon thru my telescope a few years ago. Just glad people aren’t saying my pics look like blurry garbage anymore haha!
