1996 d cent reverse over obverse how rare is it and what's it worth???

    I received this coin as a gift and I'm curious I've never seen anything like it. Please help me out I would like your thoughts.

    This is PMD.. Post Mint Damage
    Looks like the Obverse of your Cent was attached somehow to another Cent, maybe glue and the Reverse image of that Cent transferred to the Cent in question
    Not an error.. worth 1C

    Welcome to CT. This is PMD or Post Mint Damage. The transfer of the image occurred by some means after it left the Mint.

    Glue or a squeeze job. I can't tell from the images.

    Glue, not a squeeze job. Look at the last picture he posted and blow it up. You can clearly see the edge of the glue on Lincoln's coat and in the field between the date and Lincoln's chin.

    Why would you make a poll asking if it's worth hundreds or thousands? By only giving those two options, you are obviously assuming it's automatically worth hundreds. Just curious as to why people make these ridiculous polls.

    Poll should have said Hundredths or Thousandths. As in hundredths of a dollar.
